SEDIN will participate in the Best practices in the fight against counterfeiting & piracy 4.0 conference on the theme “NFTs, not your cup of tea? Their interest in the fight against counterfeiting and piracy”, on Thursday 15 September 2022 at the University of Neuchatel, organised by STOP PIRACY and the Faculty of Law of the University of Neuchatel.
An increasing number of companies are offering items with NFTs. But what are NFTs (non-fungible tokens)? Why are Swiss companies banking on these new technologies and what role can they play in the fight against counterfeiting?
The event will also deal with other topics such as counterfeit medicines (situation in Switzerland and the EU), illegal streaming offers on the Internet and experiences with the implementation of the Swissness regulation at national and international level.
