Decrease of the fee to cover Switzerland in an international trademark

Along with the decrease of the fee for filing a national Swiss trademark, the fee for filing a trade mark in Switzerland via the international route is now lower too.

As from July 1st, the individual fee for an original or subsequent designation of Switzerland in an international trademark decreased to CHF 400 as announced by the World Intellectual Property Organization in Information notice no. 6/2023.

It is worthwhile protecting the trademark in Switzerland in addition to the European Union trademark.
