Isabelle Bruder

Experience
Isabelle has more than fifteen years' experience with various firms specializing in intellectual property law, including six with leading Swiss law firms. She has acquired in-depth expertise and knowledge of Swiss and European legislation and practice. Over the years, Isabelle has advised a large number of clients and managed portfolios of internationally renowned groups, SMEs, start-ups and non-profit organizations.
Having joined SEDIN in 2019, Isabelle provides her clients with strategic advice for the constitution, maintenance and defense of their intangible assets such as trademarks, designs, copyrights and domain names, in Switzerland and internationally. She develops strategies for filing trademarks and designs, carries out audits of trademark portfolios, conducts trademark availability searches, responds to objections from offices at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property or, internationally, through local agents, acts before the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property in oppositions and actions for cancellation of trademarks for non-use, drafts letters of formal notice, negotiates coexistence agreements, draws up intellectual property contracts and provides legal opinions, particularly on the risks of infringement. She is also involved in various projects relating to SEDIN's business development.
