Experience

Isabelle est juriste en propriété intellectuelle. Isabelle has more than fifteen years of intellectual property experience in private practice, including six years in Swiss renowned law firms, from which she has acquired an in-depth knowledge of Swiss and European legislation and practice. Over the years, Isabelle has advised a large number of clients and managed portfolios of internationally renowned groups, SMEs, start-ups and non-profit organizations.

Having joined SEDIN in 2019, Isabelle provides her clients with strategic advice for the constitution, maintenance and defense of their intangible assets such as trademarks, designs, copyrights and domain names, in Switzerland and internationally. She develops strategies for filing trademarks and designs, conducts audits of trademark portfolios, performs trademark availability searches, prepares and files responses to objections at a domestic and international levels, the latter through local agents, acts before the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property in opposition proceedings and in actions for cancellation of trademarks for non-use (in attack and in defense), drafts cease and desist letters, negotiates coexistence agreements, draws up intellectual property contracts, provides legal opinions in particular on the risks of infringement.

She also takes part in various projects related to the business development of SEDIN.
